Maybe you’re an avid reader or love painting with watercolors. At Hooverwood Living, our activities department offers residents a variety of programs that cater to all individual preferences. Whether you’re an athlete or a creative thinker, you’ll find activities and events that suit your interests.
Our activities can be broken into four main categories: physical activities, mental challenges, social activities and religious gatherings. Our activities rotate often, so residents can find new groups as their interests shift. Examples of activities for residents:
- Bingo
- Blackjack
- Exercise programs
- Off-campus excursions to local restaurants, museums, shops and movie theaters
- Religious services
- Weekly get-togethers
- Educational classes in cooking, painting and more
