Volunteer Opportunities

Get Connected

At Hooverwood Living and A.R.N. Hospice we deeply value community engagement and the spirit of giving back. Volunteers play a crucial role in enriching the lives of our residents and enhancing the quality of care we provide.

As a volunteer at Hooverwood Living you would have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents. Whether you choose to assist with scheduled activities, have friendly visits with residents, bring your pet for pet visits, passing magazines door-to-door, provide companionship to our hospice patients, or help with administrative tasks, your presence would be greatly appreciated and valued.

We offer flexible scheduling options to accommodate your availability. All adult volunteers 18+ must complete a background check, drug screening, and orientation session. Junior volunteers (ages 14-17) must complete our junior volunteer orientation session.

Make an Impact

Volunteering at Hooverwood Living offers numerous benefits, including:

  •  Fulfillment: Knowing that you are making a positive difference in the lives of others can be incredibly rewarding and fulfilling.
  •  Connection: Building meaningful relationships with our residents and staff can create lasting connections and friendships.
  •  Skill Development: Volunteering can provide valuable experience and skills that can enhance your personal and professional development.
  •  Community Engagement: Being part of our volunteer program allows you to actively engage with the local community and contribute to its well-being.
