Murray I. Firestone, Ph.D., Hooverwood Board President, proudly announces that David Glass (left) has been appointed the newly licensed administrator at Hooverwood.
David has been employed at Hooverwood since July 2015 upon earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health from Indiana University. David was initially hired as a part-time receptionist and later became a Human Resource and Business Office assistant.
In November 2016, David began his 6-month Administrator-in-Training program under the preceptorship of Marc Penner. During this time, David became quite involved with the renovation and construction project and gained valuable administrative experience in every department throughout the organization.
David recently passed the federal and state exams to become a Health Facility Administrator. In anticipation of Marc Penner’s upcoming departure, September 1st, the Board of Directors has promoted David to the position of facility administrator, effective immediately.
A search committee is currently interviewing candidates for the Chief Executive Officer position. During this time, David will be responsible for managing the organization.
We extend a heartfelt Mazel Tov to David on this significant accomplishment. We are all so proud of David and we look forward to his bright future in our organization.
