Choosing long-term care can be a difficult and scary decision. It’s not uncommon to have concerns about loss of independence, fears of losing your individuality, and moving away from the home you’ve known for years. The staff at Hooverwood understands this, and does their best to reassure and ease your transition to our home.
At Hooverwood, we recognize each resident as a unique individual. We care for the whole person in an energetic, active, and social environment. We have residents who have been inspired to take up new interests like painting, gardening, and even writing memoirs. Whether you’re considering long-term care, rehabilitation after an injury or illness, or adult day services, our goal is to provide a place where you can thrive.
Hooverwood is a nonprofit nursing home located on the beautiful Max and Mae Simon Jewish Community Campus in northwest Indianapolis. Our home is Medicare and Medicaid certified, providing skilled nursing and medical services, rehabilitation, and adult day services. We’ve created a home-like setting with private and semi-private rooms. Residents can enjoy amenities including a beauty shop, gift shop, courtyards, and chapel.
We invite you to take a tour of Hooverwood, and see what makes our home a special place for our residents and their families.
